I bought Issue #1 of Creepy and I was equally disappointed. Not one of the stories stood out…and for a first issue that is death. I’ve been a big fan of Creepy and have purchased 3 of Dark Horse’s Creepy Archives. In fact they were the inspiration of my own horror anthology comic site – Macabre Magazine now in it’s 4th issue…check it out…macabremagazine.com.

Stephen King wrote one of the two story arcs in the comic. Specifically, the origin story.
According to King’s website:
